Maryland Winter Wedding // Claire & Willem

Claire and Willem’s quiet and strong personalities shone through on their wedding day. The “first look” wasn’t a big, staged ordeal. It felt like a regular, normal greeting with a hug and saying, “Hey, you look good!” Later in the day as the reception was coming to a close, they decided they were ready to head out. Claire and Willem didn’t wait for people to gather for a big receiving line with sparklers or bubbles or rice. Instead, they walked out to their car, with people cheering them on from behind, and were greeted with a special surprise visitor in their getaway car (look through these pics for said visitor!). 

While it wasn’t a flashy production, their day was beautiful and special nonetheless. A joy to take part in this sweet, tender wedding day.
